Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Lewiston, Maine, our team of professionals offers public and private sector clients expertise in geology, hydrology, engineering, industrial hygiene, geosynthetics, hazardous materials testing, construction materials testing, and a variety of supporting expertise. Our team is dedicated to working with clients as partners to provide innovative solutions to technical challenges, at reasonable cost.
Summit leadership is provided by co-owners Michael A. Deyling and James W. Bouquet. Mr. Deyling is Summit's President and a Certified Geologist in Maine and a Professional Hydrogeologist. He manages site characterization and groundwater related projects for the firm. A Maine-licensed site evaluator, Mike designs and installs sanitary septic systems, both commercial and residential. Mr. Bouquet is Vice-President and Principal Engineer at Summit, where he specializes in remedial work plan development, CQA including geosynthetics, construction management and site stormwater (SWPPP) and spill (SPCC) control. He is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC). and a licensed professional Engineer in four states.
